The Importance of Education versus Experience in the Indian Job Scenario

It is an age old riddle of what precedes the other; egg or chicken. Same goes in with the job opportunities where to what should be given more importance education or experience. Now each of them has their own set of debates as to which is better. While experience speaks on its own accord, education brings in the wisdom of the best professionals in the same field. It cannot be denied that both are important in their own ways and conditions. The feasible situation is to strike an optimal balance between them to bring out the best of the solutions.

Some of the out-of-box jobs like wine-tasting, running machinery, automotive test drivers, architect historian photographers, etc. cannot be bounded by any formal education .It is the blend of experience that gives success in such professional fields. Such professions are not well recognized in India but that does not mean that these individuals cannot thrive successfully here. To introduce such fields of work in public, various job portals come in as handy. We are well aware of how these job-sites manage their advertisements to allure the masses. They not only provide the options of 9-6 jobs but also these different set off professions. What makes these portals fun and exciting is that they can introduce an individual to such an exhibit of profession that one cannot even imagine of.

To arrange for placements in such non-ordinary jobs is not a matter of joke wherein both the employers and job-seekers are a bit skeptical. Convincing them to be the best for each other and striking a deal takes a lot patience and perseverance on the part of these job portals. In a developing country like India where job security is often searched upon regular desk-jobs cajoling individuals to take up such profession is quite a mammoth task. These job-sites actually research on the viability of such kind of jobs and dig out experienced individuals in such fields. Most of such professionals do not have a formal education in India which makes their chances in placement all the more difficult. It is in such dire situations where the job portals come to the rescue.
The ace-card for these job-portals is the contacts of both the employers and the job-seekers. It is by means of these contacts they can arrange for job allocations amongst the various organizations and employees. But contact alone does not help these job-sites stay afloat in this cut-throat competition. They also arrange for various courses inviting the pioneers of the profession from across the globe to enhance the skill-set of the wannabes as well as that of the practicing professionals. To add garnish to the cake these job-portals execute job fairs, seminars, workshops and all the other flairs to make the package enticing not only from the outside but also from the inside .It is with the help of this quality  work of the job-portals that such out-of-ordinary professions are finding their way in the Indian market thereby uplifting our economy.
