The appearance of MNCs or Multi-national Companies in the Economic fabric of the nation since the last two decades has resulted with a huge change in the socio-economic structure of the nation. One would be mistaken if they consider that the advent of MNCs is recent. They have been operational since the time of the Industrial Revolution in Europe when traders would try to colonise the various non-European Nations on behalf of the various royalties of Europe. However, the modern versions of such trading companies or MNCs as they are popularly known have similar modus operandi like their ancient counterparts except for their intent of colonization on a foreign soil. The MNC Vacancy has been playing a very important role in the recent job market.

MNCs find India a very lucrative place to have strong foothold for their business. The main factor behind this is the reasonably low work rate cost which increases the profit margin manifold. Also, almost all the workforce from India is fluent in the English language which gives us, the Indians a huge boost in the work space against the South East Asian counterparts. These two reasons create a Huge Vacancy in MNC for the Indians. Another key player for the MNC boom in the nation is the flexible laws for Foreign Direct Investment exercised by the Government.

 The MNC Vacancy has given ample opportunities to the job seekers to secure a well-paying job thus ensuring ones better future. This security not only leads to the economic development of the nation but also helps in curbing crimes and unemployment in the country. Since these MNCs are known for their desired foreign locations for offices, they always provide opportunities for onshore travel to the employees of the organizations. The temptation of traveling abroad is often satisfied with such MNC Jobs accompanied by earning in foreign currency. Such features make these places a very tempting place to work in.

India produces a huge number of college pass-outs every year. Fresher Openings in these MNCs are very important to curtail the frustration of not having a job amongst these youngsters. Most of these MNCs hire the fresher for a probation period during which they are given a decent salary and provided training in required technologies on which they would be working in the future. On the end of their probation period these fresher gain the position of permanent employees of the organization sometime with a nominal hike in their salary packages.

Jobs in MNC are bounded not only to the highly skilled professional individuals; the laborer class are also benefited with the MNCs boom where they are hired to maintain the campuses of such organization in the form of janitors, gardeners, drivers, security guards. However, the sedentary lifestyle coupled with stress of deadlines and escalations encouraged by working patterns of these MNCs has resulted in poor health standards amongst the employees. Such conditions must be kept at bay not only by the company but they should also be an individual’s responsibility
